BioHorizons
Biomain provides these well-documented implants for the Nordic market. In 2009 Biomain commenced a partnership with the American implant manufacturer BioHorizons for sale of their implants and distribution of Biomain's customized prosthetics. The results of 15 years of research and well-documented studies show that the patented surface structure with its laser-processed microchannels (Laser-Lok®) inhibits loss of soft tissue and minimises bone loss. The BioHorizons implant sold by Biomain in Scandinavia is called Tapered Internal, and was launched during Swedental 2009.
Tapered Internal is an anatomically shaped implant with BioHorizons' internally developed Laser-Lok microchannels and patented reversed trapezoidal threads.

Sterngold Dental
Biomain provides generic implants from Sterngold Dental. These implants are self-tapping with a cover screw, and have an acid-etched surface. They are made of Grade 4 titanium and are available with various dimensions. They are compatible with one of the market's leading implant systems, Brånemark System®. All of the externally hexed head implants designs can be used with Sterngold-ImplaMed®'s full line of prosthetic components, and Biomain´s line of prosthetic components offering the restorative dentist the convenience of using two prosthetic platforms (regular and narrow) when various types of implants are required.
Regular Platform Implant Fixtures have a standard 4.1 mm platform, with a standard external hex, that measures 2.7 mm from flat surface to flat surface. They are produced as Hex Screw Implants with body diameters of 3.75 mm, 4.0 mm, and 5.0 mm in Self Tapping machined titanium and Self Tapping double thread, screw implants, with an Acid Etched surface. Narrow Platform Implant Fixtures have a 3.5 mm platform, with a 0.7 mm tall external hex, that measures 2.4 mm from flat surface to flat surface.
